Trinity Burke & Peanut Brittle

We Applaud You, Trinity Burke!

Trinity has been training at our gym since she was 17. She is now 21 and is a National USA Boxing Champion. She was invited to train with other Olympic hopefuls in Colorado Springs this past May. Trinity has qualified for the Olympic Trials for a chance to compete in the Paris Olympics in 2024! She serves as a role model for the younger women who are now in our program. Good luck Trinity!

Congrats to Mike "Spoonie" James!

Hats & gloves off to Mike “Spoonie” James! In December of 2021, at age 15, weighing 176 lbs., Mike won a National Champion title at the USA Boxing National Championships, held in Shreveport, LA. We commend him for his hard work, determination, and poHsitive attitude. He is currently ranked Number 1 in the country by USA Boxing! Spoonie will  now travel and compete as a team member of the USA Boxing National Team.

Fighting For The Future

In November 2022, WTAE-TV Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 featured Team 412 in a news story highlighting the boxers’ drive, determination and love of the sport. Watch our boxers explain what boxing and the team means to them both in and out of the ring here!

You Go Girls!

Kudos to Trinity and also to Gea “Peanut Brittle” Fultz, age 13, who is ranked 7th in the country in her weight class by USA Boxing! Both boxers recently appeared on Pittsburgh News KDKA. Gea says she looks up to Trinity like a sister and an inspiration. Trinity spends most of her time at the gym sparring with the boys and they go at her hard. Trinity says “it is way harder to spar with my teammates than the girls I fight most of the time.” Peanut Brittle and Trinity will also compete in the Girls National Championships in Toledo, OH this summer.

Praise For Team 412!

In 2023, Team 412 has won championship belts in fights in Altoona and Scranton, PA, Long Branch, New Jersey and at the Fight With The Irish in Dubois! Tank Carter, 14,  is ranked second in the country in his weight class by USA Boxing. Additional trips will include the Carolina Gloves and the Puerto Rican Bout in Jersey City.
